Eric Miller

Secretary

Eric Miller is Vice President, Government Affairs of accentedge. Mr. Miller is responsible for representing accentedge and conveying its policy and legislative positions in meetings with members of congress, state and local elected officials and their staff. He also works with policymakers, consultants and relevant associations to research and support legislative policy initiatives.

Most recently, Miller served with U.S. Congressman Robert Dold, where he acted as Senior District Representative, managing constituent affairs and specializing in policy issues including healthcare, insurance, IRS, banking, international trade, housing, environmental issues, education and human services.

Miller served for 10 years as Chief of Staff for Illinois State Representative Elizabeth Coulson where he managed the district office and worked on legislation including passing Illinois’ “Safe Haven Act” which allows a mother to bring their newborn to a police station, fire station or emergency medical facility without fear of prosecution. 128 newborns have been safely relinquished under this law in Illinois since it was enacted in 2001.

Miller also worked to elect Illinois Senator Mark Kirk to Congress in 2000 and worked on subsequent successful campaigns for Kirk. He also served as campaign manager for Illinois Deputy Governor Leslie Munger.

Before getting involved in politics, Miller worked in fundraising for Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry and Beloit College. Miller serves on the Save Abandoned Babies Foundation Board of Directors and is a program leader with Landmark Worldwide in Chicago. He enjoys biking, camping and long-distance running.
